  • Improving Observing Network Coordination: A Cyberinformatics Forum, May 2010 - Workshop Report
    • Dr. Meredith Lane from the National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) http://www.nbii.gov provided a detailed look at the NBII initiative.
    • Dr. Mark Williams from the University of Colorado described the new Boulder Creek Critical Zone Observatory (CZO) http://czo.colorado.edu/ and the overall CZO project.
    • Dr. Ted Haberman from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration discussed the ongoing development and application of ISO data standards.
    • Dr. Carol Myer provided an overview of the ESIP Federation http://www.esipfed.org, a consortium of 115 Earth and environmental data centers formed in 1998 to increase the use and impact of Earth science data and information.
